This track was made for Handshakes, the label run by our good friend Funk Hunk. The whole tune is built around a synth sample from the library of US DJ Joey Youngman (Wolfgang Gartner), with Sanyo jumping in on the mic, spitting bars about his never-ending male youth. We also layered in a couple of deeply romantic, dreamy synth lines to lift the drop.
This is our first release on Handshakes, and we’re genuinely buzzing to be part of such a strong crew — the entire compilation is pure class from start to finish.
