Basically, this song is just another oh-so-serious sermon in the form of guitar rock which I tried to lighten up with some musical tricks here and there. Human nature is the one of deifying, to worship, to adore, to glorify. If it's not one of the millions of gods, it's ism, football, money, whatever. People tend to rationalize all their inner habits. Denying God is not unbelieving if the habit of worshiping takes another object, like, believing in "science" without comprehension of the scientific methods and discursion...etc. etc.
