"BLENDER is about death and being useless to everyone. You can't save a life, or change a mind, you just simply watch as people do what they do, and feel like shit as it all plays out in front of you.
As a boy my mother had paranoid delusions and believed we were being followed by all sorts of evil organizations, which meant we moved a lot. one of the last places i lived with her before she parted was in a woman's refuge in grimsby. her mind deteriorated and fell apart completely at this point in time and it was quite stressing mentally for a 6 year old boy.
The sounds of the shore were a calming breeze in a head full of screams, and as I cried myself to sleep, gulls and the tide lulled me back to tranquility.
Soon she was gone, and first I had to accept that going was a part of life, even if it felt unfair. then I blamed myself, and then I grew to hate her. and years later this hatred still burns. all the things she did to me, and the pain she caused me still hurts.
then I became depressed.
Every now and then, I become optimistic for tomorrow, and think I have maybe gotten over myself. and that's where blender ends. It's also where it begins, since i wake up the next day, exactly how I felt before."
