Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 launches into theaters on May 5, 2023 and is the last Guardians movie put out by James Gunn.
The movie gives the usual rock n' roll energy but reminds us of the key concept that before this rag tag group of misfits became the Guardians, they were all freaks -- perhaps no more than Rocket, whose backstory is explored one painful memory at a time.
