Millions of people across the state and around the world recently took part in an earthquake emergency drills. It was part of the annual “Great California Shakeout.” Santa Barbara County has a program that will notify residents and provide important updates in the event of emergency. KCSB’s Lisa Osborn spoke with Brian Uhl at the Santa Barbara County Office of Emergency Management, to find out more about the “Aware and Prepare” program. He also shares safety tips that the average citizens may not think about before disaster strikes.
