Thousands of So Cal Edison customers in Santa Barbara County were warned that power may be cut over the weekend - as critical fire weather was in the forecast. But, the power company monitored the changing weather closely - and NO outages were called for. Still, these preventive power shutoffs are the new normal for California residents.
