Throughout May and under the advisement of Ben Kersh, KCSB Reporters Jennifer Yoshikoshi, Jennifer Zwigl, Clarissa Rios, and Crystal Martinez explored what it means to be an environmentalist by covering a multitude of environmentally related topics from the lens of journalism. With stories ranging from climate change’s impact on sleep to the disproportionate access to watersports within the Santa Barbara Area, this piece aims to show you not just what’s happening around us but where you fit into the puzzle yourself.
