A new exhibit at the UC Santa Barbara Library is spotlighting Isla Vista, from its rich history of activism to its rapid growth, as well as some of the colorful characters who have called the crowded beachside community home.
KCSB's Lisa Osborn spoke with Danelle Moon, lead curator of "Isla Vista: Building a Community 1970-2016," to find out more about how life in IV has unfolded throughout the years.
You can experience “Isla Vista: Building a Community 1970-2016,” at the UC Santa Barbara Library (third floor) through early 2017. For more information go to http://library.ucsb.edu
