It’s been an emotional month for a lot of people, including students and Isla Vista residents. With the recent national election, it’s easy to feel the lingering effects of stress and anxiety.

According to the Los Angeles Times, more than 73% of Americans say that they feel stressed about the election, and that 65% of us feel exhausted when thinking about politics. This seems to be a hard-hitting issue, especially among young people and their futures.

KCSB's ALice Dehghanzadeh spoke with Dr. Turi Honegger, clinical director and psychologist at UC Santa Barbara’s Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) to dive further into the topic, specifically on how to manage this post-election stress.
