Doreen, Farr, Isla Vista’s representative on the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors, joined host Lisa Osborn this week on Inside Isla Vista.
Farr offered some historical perspective, such as how Isla Vista benefitted from redevelopment agency (RDA) funds before Governor Brown dissolved the program. Farr also discussed a new proposed noise ordinance that caught many community members by surprise, safety and infrastructure improvements and her feelings on Isla Vista's current self-governance efforts.
