KCSB News reporter Jennifer Yoshikoshi speaks with Atmika Iyer, editor with the Daily Nexus, about her challenges finding a place to live near campus as students return for fall quarter. Atmika said finding housing this year has been the biggest challenge of her life. She also offers insights into what she has seen in Isla Vista, where she said there are students living in their cars.
Later in the show, Yoshikoshi speaks with two students who reside in Goleta hotels, housing that is only secure through the end of the year.
