This Sunday marks the seventh anniversary of a mass killing in Isla Vista that brutally claimed the lives of six students. KCSB's Jennifer Yoshikoshi and Atmika Iyer with the Daily Nexus speak with Jonathan Abboud, who was UCSB student body president at the time. Now general manager of the IV Community Services and serving Isla Vista as a trustee of Santa Barbara City College (SBCC), Abboud, recalls his memories of this dark time in Isla Vista/UCSB history and the changes that it inspired.
