Sexism in the workplace has been garnering a lot of attention recently. From discussions about the wage gap to the underrepresentation of women in fields like tech and politics. A wave of books written about women has come out to address this problem. In 2013, Sheryl Sandberg, the COO of Facebook, published Lean In. Earlier this year, Nasty Gal's creator Sophia Amoroso's book Girlboss was released.
Jessica Bennett's Feminist Fight Club is written in the same vein. It is written to give women the tools to tackle workplace sexism. However, Bennett's book is unique in that it mimics the style of a handy manual, with lists and guides that are easy to read. KCSB Reporter Nkechi Ikem interviews Bennett about her book.
