KCSB's Danielle Smith spoke with researcher and professor at UC Santa Barbara, Rene Weber. Professor Weber conducted a study which debunked the myth that films staring white-male leads do better at the box office, showing that this is not true: films starring people of color and women in leading roles do just as well, if not better.
