1 in 5 students are unsure about their plans of returning to campus in fall 2020, according to the American Council on Education. Most classes in the UC 10-campus system and the California State University’s 23-campus system will remain online in accordance with local and federal government regulations. As a result, students are forced to decide between paying full tuition for remote learning or choosing more unconventional routes such as a gap year.
