Extreme federal spending cuts recommended by the Department of Government Efficiency could mean that fewer people will be able to visit the Channel Islands and other National Parks. Kenan Chan, a marine ecologist who has worked at the Channel Islands for a decade said he was surprised when he learned that he’d been laid off. KCSB’s Robert Stark spoke with Chan to learn more about his work and what happened to him.
