According to a new interactive tsunami map produced by the California Geological Survey, the entirety of the Santa Barbara waterfront is in a hazardous area. The map, which was last updated in 2009, now features a variety of new information and provides officials and the general public to better understand the threat that tsunamis pose to Santa Barbara county.
