UC students received an email this Monday from president Michael Drake, detailing plans to reinforce policies around masks, encampments, and other protest activities. While President Drake and members of the UC academic senate say this policy is necessary and won’t infringe on free speech, social media has erupted with student condemnation of the new directive.
