In a step toward addressing homelessness, the City of Santa Barbara has partnered with the Santa Barbara Alliance for Community Transformation (SBACT) in a newly awarded contract aimed at providing essential services for the unhoused. With a dedicated budget, SBACT will oversee critical outreach initiatives and the creation of a new Navigation Center to offer personalized care and connect individuals with pathways to stable housing.
