Over 100 hundred people participated in a campus-wide walk out Monday noon to bring attention to the Federal Government’s handling of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Act. The walk out also sought to remind UCSB administrators of a series of demands that rally organizers say have not been met since they were presented three years ago.
With chants like “undocumented and unafraid” and “education not deportation,” the walk began at the base of Storke Tower and ended at the doorsteps of Cheadle Hall, the administrative center of UCSB.
