On February 11th, the Department of Government Efficiency announced 900 millions dollars in cuts to a program that tracks K-12 learning in the US. This is in line with President Donald Trump's earlier moves. In January, Trump announced his intention to shut down the Department of Education, and moved to promote school choice measures.
