Description

Nine UC campuses are looking to revise the way each campus recycles storm water. The effort comes from a research team out of UCSB, hoping to influence others outside the UC community by their research into the UC’s natural treatment systems. UCSB Bren School of Environmental Science and Management PhD student Marina Feraud dedicates her graduate studies to researching the impacts of emerging contaminants on soil microbial communities and nutrient cycling. KCSB’s Jack Shea interviewed Feraud to learn more about her research team’s new research taking place across nine UC campuses.
