On Tuesday, in his first address to the United Nations, President Trump threatened to totally destroy North Korea if circumstances required the US to defend itself or its allies. Trump’s comments come amid rising tensions between the US and North Korea as the Kim Jong Un regime continues to advance its nuclear program, launching a second missile over Japan on Friday just 5 days after the UN imposed stricter sanctions on the regime. Many Americans fear the situation may escalate into the most destructive war the world has seen. Others claim relations will stabilize.
