Description

In this episode we have two great interviews from new artists Red Voodoo and Austin Mo. We kick the episode off with a review of Damon Johnson’s new album “Battle Lessons” and play the title track. We then get into our interviews with 2 different artists who have both been working with Frank Hannon. First up, Austin Mo talks with us about his single, The River, what he learned from working with Frank Hannon of Tesla, his love for Gibson guitars, debuting his music during a pandemic, transitioning from a Guitar Hero expert to a great guitarist, his love for the blues, Stevie Ray Vaughn, his dad’s methods for getting him to develop his guitar skills, love for ACDC, Greta Van Fleet and more! Next up, we are joined by Dino McCord of Red Voodoo. Dino talks about the band’s recent singles, the forthcoming album, what they have learned working with Frank Hannon, how they got connected with Hannon to produce their album, getting into classic rock as a teenager, transitioning from a cover band to the band they have become, performing with Sammy Hagar at Cabo Wabo, a possible collaboration with Hagar, Van Halen, Tesla, Y&T, what’s coming from Red Voodoo in 2021, and a ton more!
