My opening set for Sub Zero Project at HECCYVR
Not gonna lie, I was nervous for this one because I wanted to try something different. Normally, I don’t let tracks play past one drop—I quick mix a lot because I’m a pretty awkward person and never know what to do during long breaks 🙃 So staying busy behind the decks keeps me in my zone. Lowkey (high key), I’m impatient and majority of the times I don’t wanna wait for the beat to build tension 🤣
But the energy from the crowd that night? Next level. They were going HAM, and I was vibing off that the whole time. It reminded me why I love doing this—feeling that connection with everyone, and knowing I’m doing what I’m meant to do. 🖤
