Description

The GOP sweeps the midterm elections. The nation and the world awoke to a seismic shift in power in Washington DC, a shift that will not only impact US domestic but foreign policy as well. No doubt from the Global South to Europe people will be looking to see how they will be impacted by the Republican control of both houses of Congress.

Our post election round-up with journalist Greg Palast; Barbara Arnwine, President and Executive Director of the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under the Law; Attorney Irv Joyner hair of the Legal Redress Committee for the North Carolina NAACP; Jennifer Clark, Counsel for the Brennan Center’s Democracy Program and Kamal Essaheb, Immigration Policy Attorney for the National Immigrant Law Center’s Washington DC office.
