Today the nation reacts to police pulling a gun on unarmed Black teenagers attending a pool party in McKinney Texas, this within the context of the recent decision in Los Angeles not to prosecute the police officer who shot and killed unarmed Black teenager Ezell Ford. Our guest is Melina Adbullah, an organizer with Black Lives Matter, LA.

And the pro and anti-austerity battle lines were underscored at the recent G7 Summit and the showdown between Greek leftist government and Germany and the EU continues. The EU is demanding that Greece impose austerity measures in order to receive further aid, Greece is refusing. But today it is being reported that Greece is now putting forward a compromise. We speak with economist Max Wolff.

And the corruption scandal involving the world’s largest sports organization FIFA continues to grip world attention. The controversial President of FIFA Sepp Bladder has stepped down. Over $150 million dollars in bribes have been discovered and 14 people have been charged by the US Dept of Justice with racketeering, 7 were arrested in Sweden.
