It has been close to a week since Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were declared the winners of the U.S. Presidential Election, yet Donald Trump has refused to accept the result. Many are calling this a slow motion coup, considering that Trump is doing all he can to delay the transition of power.
Trump, who has been keeping a low profile since the November 3 election, is desperately issuing legal challenges in battleground states where Biden has already been projected to win. CNN and other media outlets are calling a Biden win in Arizona. Is it about the courts for Trump or setting up GOP legislators to invoke "faithless voters" in the Electoral College. Could this be a way for Trump to steal the election?
Also, a shakeup at the Pentagon and Homeland Security: what is the purpose? What are the implications? Some in the GOP are coming out to accept Biden's victory, or at least for him to begin getting national security briefings. Also, will Bernie Sanders get the Department of Labor spot?
