Description

I once caught wind of a terrible secret,
But I best not repeat it, lest I be defeated
By the elitist who keeps it away from the fetuses --
That's what he calls us -- with inherent weaknesses

Not exactly geniuses, don't know who the teacher is
Or what our theseses are. Or is it theses?
The species of conveniences, rid of most diseases
But unable to choose who to give allegiances to

Is it meaningless? Do you know who Jesus is?
Show me where the needle is or where to put my grievances
Going through the sequences -- that's what the idea is
Keeping your heads down, not being impedances

Knowing where the evil is, deciding not to notice
Is it wrong to be happy? Even if you needed it?
Or do you increase the long list of reasons it's all going to hell?
Yes -- and that's what freedom is

And so he seeks -- I mean the elitist
To purposely deceive us into believing in
A system of false pretences and the only defence is
Some smoke and mirrors and a cloud of forced ignorance

And any attempt to clean it only deepens it
When it's time to choose it's this that or neither
And you better believe that either side will leave it just the way it's always been
And that's what freedom is
