LateNiteRush (Miguel Morales) has been a DJ and producer since the mid 90s, motivated by the goal to create a sound free from the repetitiveness and lack of originality found within much of today’s dance music and culture.
As a young Mexican and Puerto Rican “Army Brat” in Panama, Miguel was raised and exposed to the Afro-Caribbean rhythms of Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Mambo, Latin Jazz, and more - eventually to discover a love for electronic music through the records of Kraftwerk’s ‘Computer World’ and ‘Electric Cafe’. A combination of influences that would later lead to his signature take on Afro + Tribal house music.
In 2014, Miguel launched his own independent record label based in South Florida, LateNiteRush Recordings - releasing a collection of EPs and singles available through most digital music platforms.
Filtered Deluxe Recordings proudly presents ‘Sunset In Her Eyes’ by LateNiteRush. A two track collection of “late night” house grooves invigorated with Afro-Caribbean + Brazilian rhythms, and elements of tropical bass certified to keep you moving into those early summer hours.
