This was my set at Flowers Are Speakers, recorded live in the forest of Mare Longues for the 10-year celebration of Gathering Dan Bon Air (GDBA).
Taking over after SMILK, I stepped into a dancefloor already fully alive. The intention was simple: keep the journey moving forward — holding the pulse of the night while guiding it gently into daylight.
The set moves freely across tempos and textures, weaving bass, techno, breaks, Kréol rhythms and unexpected turns into a continuous voyage. As the light slowly filtered through the trees, the energy shifted naturally — from the intensity of the night toward the warmer, playful feeling of a Sunday morning gathering in the woods.
Earlier in the night, BRAINLOVE opened the way with a warmup set for SMILK, setting the tone for a long night of connection, movement and shared sound.

🌿 ABOUT GATHERING DAN BON AIR
For the past decade, GDBA has been more than an event. Born in Mauritius, it has become a living gathering — sometimes hidden in the forest, sometimes perched on a cliff, always shaped by nature and the community.
There are no genre limits. Each edition takes its form from its surroundings and from the energy of the people who come together. What matters is the vibe, the freedom, and the connection shared in that moment.
Ten years on, GDBA continues to grow as a reminder that it’s not about style, but about the gathering itself — a celebration of life through music.
