This is as good a place as any to rant about SoundCloud. I thought SC was all about struggling artists. No treble. Didn't you? Well, one click on "Who [sic] to follow" will disabuse you of that notion.
I couldn't care less what signed artists see fit to put on SC. And then try to charge us to download. But then I really don't understand unsigned artists keeping me from downloading their stuff completely free of charge (and totally devoid of scruples), but I do fear that's tangential to this topic, at best.
If you have a recording contract, you are not welcome on my music sharing service. But it is very possible that I would allow only me on my music sharing service, which really amounts to little more than yet another reason I don't have a music sharing service. (The others centering on how I have the brainpower of a coleslaw.)
