Feeling nostalgic the other day, I dusted off some of the more subtle 4/4 tracks in my collection. Genres such as dub techno/minimal will always have a soft spot in my heart. Maintaining a steady energy that takes the listener inward seems to the be goal here. Beautiful, subtly nuanced tracks, with a couple mellow peaks for contrast result in a vibe I am incredibly happy with. This set is best served as a background to your workday, a late night drive, or lying in the grass staring at the clouds. I close off this set with one of my favorite bits of narration of all time. Carl Sagan's 'you are here'- an eloquent summary of our existence.
