HUMANS -Steph Something & Matt Kaprelian
Just a Pie in the Face
I wanted your car, but you said no
So I shot you dead
You were forcing yourself on her
She kicked, you fell, and you took a deadly blow to the head
I took a life
She took a life
And now we're both rotting in a cell for the rest of our lives
It just don't seem right, right?
Nothing is ever black or white
There is no one punishment for a particular crime
Every interaction is situational
Just deserts cannot be served until we get all the dirt
You hear about a boy who broke his neighbor's toy
Then you see his bicycle wheel come off
You say, "It serves him right"
But did you know last year, one night
That neighbor pissed in little Timmy's shoes
So who in the hell are you to judge
Nothing is ever black or white
There is no one punishment for a particular crime
Every interaction is situational
Just deserts cannot be served unless we get all the dirt
And you'd have to be a fly on the wall
To get it all
You never know
So get off your throne
And leave everyone alone
Before I
Smash those just deserts right in your fuckin' face
