Psalm 103 is a beautiful hymn of praise. It’s a call remember God and all His benefits. As human beings we are so prone to forgetfulness. We get fixated on what we don’t have and we overlook the 1001 things that God is doing in our lives. This Psalm calls us to look upon God’s works again, to get reacquainted with His compassion and goodness. To remember the scope of His great love. To marvel at the extent to which our sins have been dealt with; ‘as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us’. It’s a call to worship.
