The last 18 months have been a rough time for everyone, and it is so encouraging to see God deal gently, patiently and graciously with Elijah a ‘man just like us’ as he grapples with his own exhaustion and disappointment. God lovingly restores him, and He wants to do the same with us. As part of his recommissioning Elijah calls Elisha to be his successor and Elisha joyfully leaves everything behind to follow the call of God. We too have a call of God on our lives. Are we willing to leave everything behind? Security, comfort, and familiarity to pursue Jesus? We’ll explore how Jesus calls us and why He is always worth following!
