From the parable of the dishonest manager Jesus teaches us how to invest wisely in the future. If the dishonest manager knows how to use wealth to his advantage, how much more should we the ‘sons of light’. Jesus promises us that if we are generous with our finances now, we will make eternal friends who will welcome us into God’s kingdom. This giving Sunday our invitation is ‘for God’s sake shoot’ as we get the privilege of sowing into God’s eternal kingdom.
