Over 20 years after it was first lodged, a native title claim in Central Queensland by the Darumbal people was this week awarded in their favour by the federal court.
The area covers nearly 15,000 square kilometres including the towns of Rockhampton and Yeppoon and parts of the Shoalwater Bay military training area.
