Dacia Maraini was commissioned to write the play by Amnesty International Italy, to support their ‘Stop Violence Against Women and Girls’ campaign, and she adapted, amalgamated and dramatised testimonies given to Amnesty.
This play works as a springboard to illustrate, inform and stimulate the post performance discussion with a panel of people experienced in working in women’s support services.
