Olfat Mahmoud is a Palestinian refugee from the town of Tarshiha. Her family fled in 1948 from the Israeli militia. She talks about her family's existence in Lebanon in a refugee camp called Borj al Bourajneh. Olfat grew up near the Sabra and ship to the refugee camps which word the victim of the 1982 massacre orchestrated by former Israeli prime minister ariel sharon (the butcher of Beirut). Here she talks about life in the camp and the problems Palestinians have in other countries like Lebanon. dr mahmoud was speaking at the Queensland Council of unions as part of a tour organised by union aid abroad (APHEDA).
