I'm still mesmerised by Donato Scaramuzzi's creations........
I first heard Dozzy DJ for Bleep 43 at Corsica around 2007 and about the time I started to explore and collect his records. In 2016 one of my Timeline shows was dedicated to his music, spanning different projects, collaborations and remixes from Ambient to Acid Techno to Deep Techno and Mid 130 stompers.
Late last year my son and I went to a Voices From the Lake live set hosted by Jane Fitz at Fold and that was genuinely one of the best club nights i'd been to in nearly 40 years of partying.... it got me thinking about doing another dedicated set.
Since set 1, DDs music has become even more diverse, Spazio Disponibile was established and there's many more collaborations. So here i followed the same template, it's not chronological ..... rather using music i've since collected since and not revisiting any of the releases on the 1st mix. For now, not a proper tracklist but acknowledging what's included. So have some fun working out what and where the tracks are.
Recorded with 1210s, CDJ, Analogue rotary and FX. This music is perfect for experimenting with delays, reverbs, filters and echoes.
