Rowena Hardgrove was a librarian and investigator, successful leader of a team dedicated to defending mankind from the Horror of the mythos, until her world was torn apart.
She was the only survivor of a case gone bad, wracked with guilt and a desire for revenge. Part of her wanted to quit, put the horrors behind her and life a quiet peaceful life.
While another part of her burned for vengeance, as the creatures who killed her friends, a collection of entities called themselves the Night Parade, we're still out there.
She quit her job, cut herself off from friends and family, and vanished.
However, she is one of the only people the investigators know of who might be able to save Harper Twilight, and break him free of the dark bargain he forged with Eihort
