This broadcast was fun. Sam (Saku) lost his voice the day before so he just whispered something at the beginning and end. Martin (Kaplick) had to do all the talking himself. The new stuff is both deep breaks and dance bangers, as well as some funkier pieces!
In the second half we played an underrated gem of electronic music, an album by Alexis Worrall aka Lexi Love - Too Fast Times. Released on Second Skin label in 2000. The production is absolutely brilliant and tracks from Lexi Love were featured on various compilations at the time, including Hyper's iconic Y4K. The track Love 1 is still played by Saku in his mixes to this day. The album is not available anywhere on digital platforms, we played it from the original 2000 CD we got from an antique store (Because we only have it on vinyl.). Have a nice listen!
