There is a lot going on in this hour of broadcast. We open up with a blog post I had seen earlier in the day about Donald Trump and the dog whistle effect he's having on feminists, and women in general. It eventually got me asking a totally different question: Does all of this really offend me? That opens up a great talk about Jackasses and Assholes: how to identify them and what all of this sexual assault really adds up to.
Then we get around to some of the ideas President Obama shared before a crowd in Pittsburgh on Thursday. This is one of the scariest things we covered in the hour: Should we have a curation system to make sure only a select few media sources are reporting approved 'truth'? This idea is being posed at the end of 2016——the year where all of our fears about media collusion and propaganda have been completely proven to be worse than originally thought.
