I am writing these things to warn you about those who want to lead you astray. But you have received the Holy Spirit (NIV and Greek say the anointing from him) and he lives within you
Anointing = to smear or rub with oil
Ephesians 5:18
Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit.
The Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit:
Draws us to God (opens our hearts to believing in him)
Saves us (gives a new heart)
Seals us (Keeps us saved)
Lives in us (help us live day to day)
Fills Us (Fills us up like and empty cup)
Joshua 3:5
Then Joshua told the people, “Purify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do great wonders among you.”
