6 Ways We Respond to God’s Truth
1. Defensive (v. 9) “Why are you asking me?”
2. Sarcastic (v. 11-12) “I guess you’re greater than Jacob.”
3. Selfish (v. 15) “Give me some so I never have to come back…”
4. Dishonest (v. 17) “I’m not married.”
5. Deflect (v. 19) “Why do Jews insist on worshiping in Jerusalem?”
6. Hesitate (v. 25) “When he comes, he’ll explain everything.”
