1 - My attempts to modify Karplus-Strong kept crashing Max
2 - I listened to Zappa's "Lumpy Gravy" today, which mentions pickup sticks
3 - I envisioned the game as a collage
4 - I imagined tapping into the thoughts of various players
5 - I wanted to incorporate a Polivoks synth emulator
6 - I reflected on how each stick is nearly identical
