Marlon George is a British music producer, DJ and sound designer living in London. He is a classically trained double bassist, enrolling at the Royal College of Music at six years old.
A complete vinyl head, Marlon's wealth of experience as a DJ has seen him play in shows up and down the UK. His smiley sets have been heard in institutions like fabric and 93 Feet East, whilst he also enjoys longer, extended sessions in bars like HWK and Boxpark. Marlon's sensitivity as a selector and ability to whip up a crowd recently grabbed the attention of Worldwide FM, who hosted a guest mix from him in February last month.
As a producer, his tracks were noticed by house music legend Phil Weeks late last year, and a four track EP quickly ensued on Robsoul Recordings. The EP went on to reach top spot in the Jackin' House chart on Beatport and was featured in Defected's Ibiza 2022 compilation on Spotify & Apple Music. Impressed too were DJ Mag USA, who did a bubbler on Marlon as 'One to Watch' in their Febuary '22 print and online magazine.
2022 has already been a fantastic start for Marlon, and whilst he continues to focus on his businesses, (he also does graphics and teaches) Marlon will finally do a release on vinyl this summer.
