Yannick Roberts is mostly known for his releases on Freerange Records, but also released music under his former alias Ouvrijster on Sampling As An Art Records, Sleazy Beats and his own record label Dievegge Recordings since 2017. Yannickâs own take on the deep, disco-influenced Detroit House sound is warm and punchy. With sampling Soul and Disco records, he creates House music for the place where it belongs: sweaty dancefloors. Always with the utmost respect for where the music originated from and with the a philosophy on how House music should be celebrated. This is reflected in his DJ sets, where Yannick plays vinyl to create this space with warm sounds, solid grooves and yearning vocals.
