This Ep by Emile Londonien contains the 2 original tracks " Down the big street " and " SxB ".
The first track is a down beat ballad, in which you can feel the cool and relaxed vibe of our city Strasbourg. In this one the progression of the keyboard and trumpet mixes with the tight and precise playing of the drums, all supported by a solid bass which makes this track super efficient and deep.We can even say that we feel the influence of the "WU" of a certain Kamaal Williams in this track.
"SXB" is an uptempo track, carried by a bouncing drum set that alternates between the keyboard and the bass. More house oriented, this track proves Jazz's ability to make people dance while telling a subtle story.
These 2 original tracks are remixed by 2 talented producers and instrumentalists. "Down the big street" has been remixed by GEOFF-ROY who took the track on the road to a house-music infused with breakbeat and sunshine.
As for "SxB", it was remixed by bassist and producer MONOMITE (Paris), who chose to orient his remix in a Dub-House sound, which ingeniously mixes the sound of Detroit and the dub sound of Maurizio!
The label's team is particularly proud of this Ep. Producing a young group of instrumentalists is a real pleasure for us and moreover this Ep is the tenth one we've made in the two years of the label's existence.
